COMPUTEX 2025 opens with ‘AI Next’ theme, spotlighting robotics, future mobility, and next-gen tech
COMPUTEX 2025 has begun early with some “Day 0” action with a round of global press conferences to help visitors learn more about its theme of ‘AI Next’.

Unveiled by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Chairman James Huang, the event is focusing on three major AI-driven sectors: AI & Robotics, Next-Gen Technologies, and Future Mobility.
This year’s expo features over 1,400 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions, occupying 4,800 booths across Hall 1 and Hall 2 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. TAITRA has encouraged attendees to explore not only global tech leaders but also the InnoVEX startup zone, where innovation and entrepreneurship take center stage.
AI remains the global growth engine
A recent report from Gartner underscores the ongoing momentum of artificial intelligence, projecting worldwide AI spending to reach US$644 billion by the end of 2025. COMPUTEX 2025 aims to reflect this trajectory by facilitating conversations and showcases around the most transformative AI trends.

During the global press conference, Paul S.L. Peng, Chairman of the Taipei Computer Association (TCA), emphasized Taiwan’s critical role in the AI value chain. He highlighted the nation’s advanced semiconductor ecosystem and its capacity for seamless hardware-software integration, enabling real-world applications in areas like aging societies and workforce resilience.
Tech heavyweights lead keynote sessions
As is tradition, COMPUTEX’s keynote lineup is led by major tech firms, including NVIDIA, Qualcomm, MediaTek, Foxconn, NXP, and others. Forum sessions also feature speakers from prominent global players such as Google DeepMind, Intel, Adobe, Arm, Cadence, Seagate, and Texas Instruments, offering deep dives into AI deployment and infrastructure.
InnoVEX boosts startup innovation and funding
Meanwhile, the InnoVEX segment continues to serve as the event’s innovation hub. It brings together cutting-edge startups and global accelerators like NVIDIA Inception, Garage+, and StarFab. Through pitch competitions and the Global Demo Day, these organizations aim to connect emerging ideas with investment and strategic partnerships.
Taiwan reinforces its AI leadership

COMPUTEX 2025 helps Taiwan further cement its position as a central player in the AI ecosystem. By combining deep hardware expertise with a growing emphasis on next-gen solutions, the event not only tracks where the industry is headed but also actively shapes its direction.
