Canon wraps up Think Big Klang Valley Series 2025 with a push toward Malaysia’s AI-driven future
Recently, Canon Malaysia has wrapped up its Think Big Klang Valley Series 2025, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and tech innovators for a wide-ranging conversation about how Malaysia can strengthen productivity, resilience, and sustainable growth in an increasingly digital-first economy.

Held under the theme “Future-Ready Malaysia: Innovation, Resilience, Growth,” the event marked the final stop in Canon’s nationwide Think Big 2025 tour after earlier sessions in Johor Bahru, Penang, and Putrajaya.
During his keynote address titled “Future Ready Malaysia, Unlocking ASEAN’s AI Advantages,” Malaysia’s Minister of Digital, YB Gobind Singh Deo, reinforced the government’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation and driving national innovation. That message carried into the fireside chat and panel discussion, where speakers dug into how AI and automation can streamline operations, strengthen long-term resilience, and help businesses adapt to the fast-changing digital landscape.
Thought leaders such as Dr. Jasmine Begum, Non-Executive Chairperson of MIMOS Berhad, and Alan Tan, Chief Economist of Affin Bank Group, laid out Malaysia’s readiness for an AI-powered era while discussing strategies businesses can use to stay competitive. Canon Marketing Malaysia President & CEO Masato Yoshiie added that the company is committed to helping organisations unlock new efficiencies through AI, cloud-enabled solutions, and smarter workflows, while Vincent Low, Head of Business Imaging Solution Centre, emphasized Canon’s role in supporting Malaysia’s growing leadership in AI and cloud innovation.
Alongside the discussions, Canon also showcased a lineup of new smart business solutions, including its next-generation imageFORCE multi-function device series. The new MFDs introduce AI-assisted smart maintenance, intelligent data capture, and predictive analytics to help businesses maximise uptime and enhance operational performance. Built on Canon’s pillars of Security, Reliability, Connectivity, and Sustainability, the series integrates advanced security and cloud-ready features for today’s hybrid work environments.
All of these initiatives reinforced Canon’s ongoing support for Malaysia’s digitalisation goals, underscoring how smart, scalable technologies can help local enterprises innovate and grow more sustainably. As the country accelerates toward a digital-first future, the Think Big Klang Valley Series demonstrated Canon’s role as a trusted partner in helping businesses adapt, evolve, and thrive through technology and collaboration.
