Biwin expands creator-focused storage lineup with high-speed SD, microSD, and dual-slot card reader

Biwin has introduced a refreshed lineup of storage products aimed at photographers, videographers, and mobile creators who increasingly work with high-bitrate formats such as 4K, 8K, and RAW.

At the professional capture end, the SD160 SD card takes the crown for its consistent, sustained performance of up to 160 MB/s read and 120 MB/s write speeds, while its UHS-I interface and V30 certification are designed to support smooth 4K Ultra HD video recording and continuous shooting.

Biwin says the card maintains frame stability for both RAW photography and video workloads, targeting use in DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and professional camcorders.

For mobile-centric workflows, the MS160 microSD card targets devices such as drones, action cameras, smartphones, and gimbals. It delivers up to 160 MB/s read and 120 MB/s write speeds, with U3, V30, and A2 certifications aimed at supporting 4K UHD recording, faster app performance, and responsive multitasking.

You’ll be surprised to learn that it has quite the durability through resistance to water, temperature, shock, and X-ray exposure.

Mainstream users can turn to the MS100 instead if the MS160 is a bit too much for their requirement, as its read speeds go up to 100 MB/s, as well as being UHS-I U3 and V30 certified, therefore it is designed for HD and Full HD recording, everyday file transfers, and use across smartphones, tablets, dash cams, and home security systems. Capacities of up to 256 GB are offered, alongside durability features intended to protect data under harsh conditions.

On the post-production side, the RC210 SD and microSD card reader completes the lineup by focusing on transfer efficiency. The dual-slot reader is really nice here, because it supports simultaneous SD and microSD transfers and uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity to deliver bandwidth up to 5 Gbps, with claimed read speeds up to 210 MB/s and write speeds up to 170 MB/s. Compatibility across Windows, macOS, and Android positions it as a flexible tool for creators working across multiple devices.
