Make way for Biwin’s new Black Opal 192GB DDR5 memory kit and Gen5 SSDs targeting high-demand workloads
Biwin has introduced new high-performance upgrades to its Black Opal Series, including a 192 GB DDR5 memory kit and PCIe Gen5 SSDs designed for real-world, compute-intensive use cases.

The headline addition is the Black Opal OC Lab Gold Edition DW100, a 192 GB (48 GB × 4) DDR5 memory kit running at 6000 MT/s with low CL28 latency. Optimized for AMD EXPO and validated across major motherboard vendors like MSI, Gigabyte, and ASUS, the DW100 targets high-concurrency workloads such as simulation, content creation, and multi-modal AI operations.
The memory kit is engineered with a 10-layer PCB for signal integrity, an unlocked PMIC for adaptive voltage control, and an enhanced thermal pad for reliable thermal performance under load.

Also joining the Black Opal line are the X570 PRO and X570 SSDs, both leveraging PCIe Gen5×4 and NVMe 2.0 to meet modern data throughput demands. The X570 PRO offers read speeds up to 14000 MB/s and write speeds up to 13000 MB/s, featuring a 6nm controller, up to 8 NAND channels, and a 4 GB DRAM cache. It delivers up to 2 million IOPS for random reads, catering to applications that require rapid data access and low latency.

On the other hand, the standard X570 model brings similar Gen5 performance with a DRAM-less design, using Host Memory Buffer (HMB) and dynamic SLC caching to achieve up to 14500 MB/s read and 11000 MB/s write speeds. Its single-sided, thermally optimized architecture ensures sustained performance without thermal throttling, making it a viable solution for creators, gamers, and mobile workstation users.

The new Black Opal products are now available through Biwin’s international distribution network.
