OPPO R9s Plus Officially Launched in Malaysia

OPPO today announced the official launch of the OPPO R9s Plus in Malaysia. The launch event has been graced by the appearance of OPPO’s celebrity endorsers – Ayda Jebat and Min Chen. The bigger brother of the OPPO R9s comes in a larger footprint, better performance and upgraded camera.

The design of the R9s Plus is exactly identical to its sibling. Full metal body construction with OPPO’s “six-strings” ultra-fine antenna line design. The 6.0-inch 1080p Full HD display dominates the front panel alongside with the fingerprint scanner at the bottom.

OPPO equips the R9s Plus with a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Octa-core processor. Gaming and multitasking will not be a problem as the phone comes with a whopping 6 GB of RAM. Internal storage of 64 GB is expandable via Micro SD card up to 256 GB, therefore you don’t have to worry about storage for your high definition photos and 4K videos. OPPO also increases the battery capacity to 4000 mAh that supports OPPO’s VOOC flash charge. As a result, you have a phone that could last a full day of heavy usage yet charges in a blink of an eye.

The OPPO R9s Plus also comes with the ever powerful 16 MP Sony IMX398 sensor and the super bright f/1.7 aperture. The dual phase detection autofocus (PDAF) comes as standard on the OPPO R9s Plus. This time, however, OPPO throws in a brand new Optical Image Stabiliser plus (OIS+) which is 40% more effective in eliminating camera shakes.

OPPO Malaysia also bundles the R9s Plus with one-year OPPO CARE screen warranty against accidentally shattered screens.

The OPPO R9s Plus will be on sale with the price tag of RM 2,498. Available at all OPPO concept stores, online stores, telco and e-commerce partner sites from 1st March 2017.
