Huawei Mate 10 series now Official: Moving into Mobile AI Era

Huawei Consumer Business Group has unveiled the Huawei Mate 10 family at Munich, Germany. The devices announced are the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design Mate 10. Alongside the HiSilicon Kirin 970 AI mobile chipset that was announced at IFA 2017 Berlin, the Mate 10 series aims to open door to new development in mobile AI industry.

The Mate 10 will come in two different variants, the standard and Pro versions. The Pro will come with an 6-inch FHD+ (2160 x 1080) 18:9 AMOLED display. In comparison, the standard variant has a standard 16:9 IPS LCD display albeit at higher resolution at QHD 2560 x 1440. The RAM and internal storage for the Pro version are higher at 6 GB & 128 GB, whereas the standard variant comes at 4 GB & 64 GB configuration. Other differences for the Mate 10 Pro including the IP67 water & dust resistance and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Porsche Design
Just like the Mate 9, Porsche Design once again will be working together with Huawei to release the limited edition Mate 10 to the mass. Apart from the premium redesign, the Porsche Design version has similar specifications and features as the Mate 10 Pro. That aside, it also has the highest spec configuration out of the three with the 6 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.
Pricing & Availability
The new Huawei Mate 10 will be available starting in late October in more than 15 countries and regions including Spain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Pricing starts at EUR 699 (~RM 3480).
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro will be available beginning in mid-November in more than two dozen countries, including Germany, France, Italy, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Pricing starts at EUR 799 (~RM 3980).
The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 will also be available starting in mid-November. Pricing starts at EUR 1395 (~RM6950).
